Capable Couple Required (GWC0518) – work on neighbouring farms

We are seeking a capable couple to assist on both of our clients farms (which run side by side).  The main farm is higher input running 950 cows through a 50 bale rotary.  The second farm is more grass based running 550 cows through a herringbone shed.  Both farms are well set up with modern facilities and good infrastructure.We are seeking one person to work on the high input farm and the other on the smaller farm.  Both positions are fulltime permanent, therefore you will need the ability to work a rotating roster including weekends.  We are seeking experienced farmers who can hit the ground running, where you will be responsible for milking/shed hygiene, animal health detection, tractor driving and general day to  day farm duties.  For the higher input farm you will need to be confident in your tractor abilities and managing a feedout wagon.We are seeking well organised and reliable candidates with a stable work history. A keenness to learn pasture management will also be beneficial.This role will suit either a couple wanting to further their experience on different farm systems, or we would consider two friends/family members who are willing to share accommodation.Salary negotiable on experience.  Strictly no drug or police history.AccommodationA comfortable 2 bedroom home with carport.
